I am always extremely grateful and humbled to work as an osteopath.
It means so much to me to help my patients to address their health issues, assisting them to work hard and achieve their goals. I greatly value the work I do with each and every one of you. Thank you for putting your trust in me, listening to me and working hard to meet your goals. You all make it so rewarding and I'm proud of what we achieve together so well done. Very best wishes for a wonderful, happy and healthy holiday season. I look forward to continuing our work together in the new year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

How to look after yourself and stay on track over the break.

We all need time out from life's hectic ways but that doesn't mean you have to completely forget about what you are trying to achieve. There are ways to relax and enjoy yourself while still being mindful of your health, fitness, weight and wellbeing. Balance is key so remember to bring some to each day.
If you find yourself sitting more often then also go for a short walk or do some form of activity (pilates, sports training etc) during the day.
Schedule some alcohol-free days in between outings with family and friends.
Spend a day in the kitchen and make some super healthy meals to have on hand for when you get home late or can't be bothered cooking. This will help avoid the temptation of poor food choices while saving you time and money.
Drink plenty of water and quality herbal tea.
Ensure you get eight hours sleep.
These are all really simple things you can do to make sure your hard work isn't wasted for the sake of a couple of weeks. Throw in some downtime, self-care and renewal activities and you will be positively shining through the holiday season! These activities are just as important as the catch up time with family and friends - maybe more so as you won't be good company if you are exhausted and run down.
Make yourself - and your health - a priority!
Thank you.
